We strive to equip people to make a real difference in a world that has lost hope. God gives talents and gifts to each person with the intention that they be used to serve others, especially when working alongside others with a mix of gifts. From serving the community of faith to reaching out beyond it to the neighborhoods around us, we will share God’s love and care tangibly for those who are in need.

At Cascade Hills, we look carefully for the needs around us that we can meet empowered by God's strength and gifts. We dedicate financial resources to meet individual needs that God brings to our attention. Also, we are in the process of discovering the needs of Salem's people and listening for ways God is leading us to meet them. Some ways we've already helped to meet Salem's needs:

• Food drive to benefit the Marion-Polk County Food Share program.
• Disaster Relief to aid international efforts to support those in need
• Toy drive to benefit Salem's families during the holiday season.
• Street cleanup to help beautify our part of the city
• School supply drive to benefit children in the Salem-Keizer districts
• Clothing drive for families in the Salem-Keizer area
